Job summary

Adams Morey is hiring an HGV Technician for our Portsmouth site. You will service and repair HGVs in a modern workshop, working Monday–Friday 8.00 am–5.00 pm, with every other Saturday 8.00 am–12.00 pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

You will diagnose defects, collaborate with a skilled team, and maintain high quality standards set by DAF and the Commercial Motor Industry. Driving licence is preferable and Level 3 qualification is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as a HGV Technician.
• Level 3 qualification is essential.
• DAF experience is beneficial but not essential.
• HGV Driving licence is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing and repairs on HGV vehicles to high quality standards.
• Diagnose defects and address mechanical issues.
• Collaborate effectively within a workshop team to meet targets.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to solving technical problems.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to document repairs and progress.
• Adhere to company and dealer processes, participate in training to develop skills.
