Job summary

Adams Morey is hiring a DAFaid / Workshop HGV Technician for its brand-new dealership in Andover. The role blends workshop servicing and roadside breakdown support to keep commercial vehicles on the road with high-quality diagnostics and repairs.

You'll join a new team within a leading UK DAF dealer group, with opportunities to develop your skills, deliver outstanding customer service, and work Monday to Friday with optional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV or CV Workshop Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence required (HGV desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to commercial vehicles and trailers.
• Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Providing roadside assistance and recovery support through the DAFaid service.
• Completing inspections, MOT preparation, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate job records and paperwork.
• Delivering excellent customer service both in the workshop and on-site.
