Qualifications

• Approx 3 years' hands-on experience as an HGV Technician.
• Relevant qualification or demonstrable technical experience.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Good communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• Manufacturer accreditation at HGV Diagnostic Technician level for the diagnostic position.
• Level 3 qualification desirable for the diagnostic position.
• Candidates with over five years of proven, time-served experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles.
• Investigate mechanical and technical faults and complete the necessary repairs.
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment for fault-finding where required.
• Complete work in accordance with safety requirements and relevant technical standards.
• Work effectively with colleagues and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
