Job summary

Inception pro recruitment is seeking an HGV Technician for a truck hire company based near Wolverhampton/Willenhall. You will service, diagnose and repair a range of commercial vehicles from 2.5 to 32 tonnes, with diagnostics, MOT prep and preventative maintenance responsibilities.

The role is Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, paying £48,000–£50,000 per year and with overtime at 1.5x. Requires UK driving licence; Class 2 is desirable and may be supported.

Qualifications

• HGV/commercial vehicle qualifications equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds
• Full UK driving licence held
• Class 2 HGV licence desirable but not essential (may be supported)

Responsibilities

• Work on a range of commercial vehicles including 4x4s, tippers, tipper grabs and hot boxes
• Diagnostics and servicing of vehicles
• Inspections and repairs of defects
• MOT preparation
• Preventative maintenance
