Job summary

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional workshop team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance, with regular overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance or repair.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Ability to identify worn, damaged, or defective components in line with DVSA standards.
• Full UK driving licence relevant to vehicle classes operated.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out major and minor repairs on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and commercial fleet equipment.
• Completing routine inspections, servicing, and preventative maintenance activities, including tyre replacement and oil changes.
• Maintaining workshop stock levels and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.
• Assisting with fault diagnosis and planning effective repair solutions.
• Keeping accurate maintenance and service records.
• Providing roadside breakdown assistance when required.
