Job description

Our Park Royal depot is looking for a Vehicle Technician to work an night shift (must have Class 2 HGV Driving Licence / Class 1 preferred).

Are You ‘Made for our client’? Excellent! We’re currently looking for talented individuals. You’ll ensure that the best trucks are back on the road quickly when they require maintenance. You’ll use advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking responsibility, we’ll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks. You’ll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

This is what you’ll be doing:

• Performing fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and selecting appropriate repair techniques.
• Maintaining and repairing vehicles and components independently.
• Carrying out inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• Providing support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• Conducting final checks on completed work.

This is what we’re looking for:

• A completed secondary vocational education.
• Broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of our products.
• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance on trucks, components, and related vehicles.
• Familiarity with developments in the automotive industry.

You will need to provide your own toolkit and possess a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).

Shift times: 20:30 to 07:00, 40 hours per week, 4 nights only: Tuesday to Friday (finishing at 7 am Saturday). Overtime available.
