DP World is seeking Electrical Maintenance Technicians for its London Gateway Container Port. DP World is hiring Electrical Maintenance Technicians to join our engineering team based at the London Gateway Container Port in Stanford le Hope.. This role is crucial for ensuring the availability and reliability of our large-scale equipment, which is essential for the terminal's efficient operations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting motors, inverter drives, and programmable logic controllers. Electrical Technicians play a vital role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of all on-site equipment. We are looking for candidates with experience in the manufacturing, maritime, and industrial sectors, particularly those who have worked with heavy plant equipment or machinery.
NOTE: The shift is as follows
We are a 24/7 operation this role will be Day and Night shifts, working 12 hours at a time (6-6 AM and PM). The good news is you get every other weekend off!
Working 2 Day Shifts, 2 Days Off, Working 3 Night Shifts, 2 Days off, Working 2 Day shifts, 3 Days off. This then repeat.
