Job summary

Pullman Fleet in Doncaster is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to maintain and repair heavy goods vehicles and trailers for Tesco. You will perform servicing, fault diagnosis, and ensure MOT readiness within a growing organisation.

Working hours are 4 on 4 off, 6pm-6am, with overtime opportunities; salary around £50,378 per year plus overtime; join a team committed to quality and safety. Training and progression are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspection, maintenance and repair of trucks and trailers.
• Diagnose electrical/electronic/mechanical/hydraulic faults and repair.
• Overhaul electrical equipment and components; set up machine tools.
• Weld and perform metalworking; support MOT preparation.
• Order parts and manage stores; assist Apprentice Technicians.
• Record time and detail of completed jobs; inspect workshop equipment as directed.
