Job summary

Auto Skills UK in Mansfield is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a permanent night shift role. You will service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers, diagnose faults, and work from own experience on nights 6:00pm to 6:00am, 48 hours per week, with overtime paid.

The role requires at least 3 years' HGV experience, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and strong diagnostic and mechanical skills. Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on Experience

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Experienced HGV Technician - Permanent Night Shift

Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic looking for a permanent night-shift role with the potential to earn up to £55,000 per year, depending on experience?

We're recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across HGVs and trailers.

This is a small night-shift team, so you'll need to be confident working independently, using your own technical experience to diagnose faults and complete repairs with minimal supervision.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
