Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is recruiting an HGV Technician to join the Transport Department at Market Drayton Depot. You will service and repair a modern fleet, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards while maintaining safe operating practices.

Responsibilities include inspection, diagnosis, recording defects, and MOT preparation. Experience with HGVs and City & Guilds/BTEC/IMI qualifications are valued; a Class C+E licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience.
• Commercial experience on HGVs is essential.
• Class C+E licence preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre.
• Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and safety checks.
• Prioritise workload and work well independently or in a team.
