Job summary

Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution is recruiting for an HGV Technician to join the Transport Department at the Amesbury Depot. The role focuses on repairs, maintenance and safe operation of a modern fleet.

5 days over 7 with a competitive hourly rate and premiums for overtime, weekends and unsociable hours. Applicants should have City & Guilds Part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent, with essential commercial HGV experience and a preferred Class C+E licence.

Qualifications

• HGV experience and technical competences required.
• Strong fault diagnosis and repair capabilities.
• Safe and efficient operating mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the HGV fleet.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre.
• Record defects and maintain accurate service records.
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs as needed.
• Prioritise workload and work both independently and in a team.
