Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Transport Department at the Amesbury Depot. You will service and repair a modern fleet, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. The role emphasizes safety and proactive problem solving.

Key requirements include City & Guilds/IMI motor vehicle qualifications and commercial HGV experience. A Class C+E licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Qualifications required City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience.
• Commercial experience on HGVs is essential.
• Class C+E licence preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre.
• Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work.
• Repair minor accident damage and carry out fault diagnosis.
• Prioritise safety in all tasks.
