Job summary

Mller UK & Ireland is hiring an HGV Technician for the Transport Department at the Market Drayton Depot. The role involves servicing and repairing a modern fleet to meet legal and company standards, with a strong focus on safety and efficient operations.

The position offers full-time permanency, a 47.5-hour week across 5 days, and pay at £20.84 per hour plus overtime premiums. Benefits include holiday, pension, life assurance, and various employee perks.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 2 and 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience.
• Commercial experience on HGVs is essential.
• Class C+E licence preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the HGV fleet.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre.
• Record vehicle defects and maintain accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle.
• Repair minor accident damage.
• Carry out fault diagnosis.
• Prioritise safety in all tasks.
