Job summary

Muller Dairy is recruiting an HGV Technician for our Amesbury Depot. You will maintain and repair a modern fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with standards.

The role covers inspection, defect recording, and MOT preparation, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safe practices. We offer a 5-days-in-7 shift, with a salary of £20.84 per hour and comprehensive premiums for overtime, weekends, and unsociable hours.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
• Commercial experience on HGVs is essential.
• Class C+E licence preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain our HGV Fleet.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport to test centre.
• Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle.
• Repair minor accident damage.
• Carry out fault diagnosis.
• Put safety first regarding all aspects of the role.
