Logical Personnel Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a long-established commercial vehicle dealership group for experienced HGV Technicians to join their Carlisle workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-equipped workshop with ongoing training, overtime opportunities, and long-term career progression.

The role offers a 45-hour working week with early and late shifts (06:00-15:30 and 11:00-20:30) and paid overtime on Saturdays mornings.

Competenze

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Previous HGV technician experience.
• Dealership experience advantageous but not essential.
• Own tools preferred.

Mansioni

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer guidelines and quality standards.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous HGV Technician experience
• Dealership experience advantageous but not essential
• Own tools preferred

Package

• up to £20 per hour basic
• 45-hour working week
• Days & Afters shift pattern
• 06.00 - 15.30 Earlys 11.00 - 20.30 Afters
• Alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
• Overtime available
• Manufacturer training and development
