Job summary

Logical Personnel Solutions are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a long-established dealership group in Blaydon. You’ll work in a busy workshop with ongoing training, overtime opportunities and clear long-term career progression.

The role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs, diagnosing faults, and ensuring work meets manufacturer guidelines. 45-hour week with day and Afters shifts and overtime paid where applicable.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous HGV Technician experience.
• Dealership experience advantageous but not essential.
• Own tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines.

Logical Personnel Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a long-established commercial vehicle dealership group for experienced HGV Technicians to join their Blaydon workshop.

The Role

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to HGVs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)

• Dealership experience advantageous but not essential

Package

• up to £20 per hour basic
• 45-hour working week
• Days & Afters shift pattern
• 07.00 - 16.30 Earlys 11.00 - 20.30 Afters
• Alternate Saturday mornings paid at time and a half
• Overtime available
• Manufacturer training and development
