Perfect Placement UK Ltd on behalf of a reputable commercial vehicle specialist is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their Carlisle team. You will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repair to DVSA standards, with opportunities for training and progression.

This role offers a competitive basic salary up to £42,190 with potential earnings up to £45,705 OTE, plus overtime options and night shifts that can push earnings to around £46,550.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV or Van Technician.
• Ability to perform diagnostics and general repairs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair commercial vehicles to DVSA standards, including MOT preparation and presentation.
• Conduct fault diagnosis using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform general mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and offsite repairs as required.
• Maintain high customer service standards to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Work efficiently within a team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
