Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a Gloucestershire-based client recruit an HGV Technician (Class 2) in Cheltenham. You will prepare vehicles for MOTs, carry out inspections, and perform reactive and planned maintenance, with Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm and paid breaks. Overtime is available at a premium rate, with total earnings to about £56k with overtime.

The role offers flexitime, training, progression and company benefits as part of a secure, stable workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience as HGV technician or similar role.
• Knowledge of MOT preparation and vehicle inspections.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.

Responsibilities

Are you an HGV technician, looking to join a thriving company offering a stable and secure position where you will be looked after with flexible hours and ample overtime paid at a premium rate to significantly boost your earnings?

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting vehicles for MOTs, carrying out vehicle inspections, completing reactive and planned maintenance, and responding to vehicle breakdowns.
