Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a Peterborough operation. The role offers stability, strong earning potential, and long-term progression within a reputable company.

The position requires a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance qualification, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to diagnose faults and service a varied HGV fleet. 4 on 4 off shift pattern is based in Peterborough.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance qualification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude across a varied HGV fleet.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections and fault-finding diagnostics.
• Complete servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Prepare HGVs for MOT testing.
• Work efficiently to manage workload and maintain productivity.
• Liaise with Workshop Manager to ensure parts are ordered and delivered promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and prolong equipment life.
• Complete all required documentation accurately for each job.
