Job summary

Veolia is hiring an HGV Technician in Gerrards Cross. You will ensure our fleet stays on the road and operate within a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30. Benefits include a sign-on bonus, pension, healthcare options, and ongoing training.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification and an HGV licence (desirable) and should be prepared to supply their own tool kit. Join a team committed to safe, reliable service across the UK.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.
• HGV driving licence is desirable or willing to gain this through training.
• Supply your own comprehensive tool kit.

Responsibilities

• Keep HGVs safely on the road to support street-side operatives and millions of customers.
• Carry out routine body inspections, defect repairs, fault finding and repairs to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
• Ensure workshop van and tools are secured each night; switch off welding/electrical equipment when not in use.
• Attend roadside breakdowns if required and work as part of a team
