Job summary

Contek Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled vehicle technician for a 12-hour, 4-on 4-off shift pattern. The role covers servicing, diagnostics, MOT readiness and ancillary maintenance across varied fleet units.

Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and ideally a DVSA guideline familiarity. A valid HGV licence is preferred but not essential. The position is based on-site in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities on commercial vehicles.
• Familiarity with DVSA inspection guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, safety inspections and preventative maintenance across the fleet.
• Diagnostics and fault-finding using commercial tools.
• MOT and safety inspections to DVSA standards.
• Inspect, service and repair tail lifts, doors and bodywork components.
• Maintain defect reports, job cards and logs to DVSA compliance standards.
