Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy commercial vehicle workshop in the United Kingdom. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair HGVs and trailers to keep them safe and roadworthy.

The role offers a £20.50 per hour rate, a 4 on/4 off shift pattern from 7:00am to 7:00pm, and the chance to work with a supportive team while upholding high health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience as an HGV Technician/Mechanic.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and safety inspections.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.

Education

Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
