Tru talent is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic to work in a busy modern workshop in the UK. You will service, repair, and diagnose a range of commercial vehicles, maintaining uptime and road readiness.

The role offers training, progression, and a strong earning potential. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, holds a full UK licence, and may have IRTEC accreditation or class 1/2 licences.

Formación

• Experience as an HGV Technician or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence advantageous.
• IRTEC accreditation is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair work.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.
• Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete workshop documentation and job cards.
• Work effectively within a professional workshop team.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.

Location: Waltham Cross

Salary: Up to £51,000 per year

Hours: 45 hours per week

Shifts: Early and Late Rotating Shifts
