HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: GBP50,000pa

HGV Technician Job Details

• Basic Salary: GBP43,966pa
• Working Hours:
• Week 1 - Monday-Friday 06:00-14:30
• Week 2 - Monday-Friday 14:00-22:30 + Saturday morning 06:00-12:00
• Location: Thetford

Additional Benefits:

• All overtime after your initial 40-hour contract is paid at time and a half
• Double time on Sundays and bank holidays if worked

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
• Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
• Diagnose vehicles using diagnostic equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to H&S requirements
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician

• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
• HGV license is an advantage
