Job Opportunity: HGV Mechanic

£1,000 signing bonus!! payable after 6 months to direct candidates

Salary up to £21 per hour (dependent upon skill set and experience)

Rotating Shift:

Monday to Friday - 0600hrs to 1400hrs / 1400hrs to 2200hrs

We are looking for

NVQ level 3 qualified (or similar) HGV Mechanics to join our team of specialists. Candidates should have completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry or have similar experience, including in the commercial vehicle industry.

What will you be doing

Responsibilities include:

• Performing repairs to a high standard following procedures, safely and responsibly
• Assisting in fault diagnosis
• Servicing customer vehicles and completing service sheets
• Road testing vehicles (if holding an HGV license)
• Assisting with roadside breakdowns
• Processing all relevant paperwork accurately
• Reporting vehicle defects
• Maintaining workshop facilities, equipment, and tools
• Supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
