• Technician level experience with a valid driving licence.

HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500 !!

Biffa Waste - Norwich Depot

Salary: £19.22p/h

Shift Pattern: Mixture of early and lates, rotating weekly. Overtime & Call Out Available

Monday to Friday (45hrs per week)

Role Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.
• Carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments.
• Work with a diverse fleet ranging from light commercial vans to 44t articulated assets, offering opportunities to develop your technical skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Fully skilled with a Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds, or NVQ qualification.
• Technician level experience.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence; HGV licence and IRTEC qualification are desirable.
