• Minimum car/van driving license; HGV license desirable.

HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500!

Biffa Waste - St Helens Depot

Salary: £19.22 per hour

Shift Pattern: Early and Late shifts rotating weekly. Overtime & Call Out available.

Monday to Friday (45 hours per week)

Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste management equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements. You will perform scheduled preventative services and inspections across a diverse fleet, from light vans to 44t articulated assets.

Ideal candidates may have previous roles such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, or HGV Technician. Skilled or semi-skilled technicians are encouraged to apply as we offer upskilling and career development opportunities.

Requirements

• Full Level 3 HGV/PSV apprenticeship, City and Guilds, or NVQ qualification
• Technician level
• Minimum car/van driving license
• HGV license desirable
• IRTEC qualification desirable
