Job summary

Elite Workforce Solutions Ltd in Preston is seeking an experienced Level 3 HGV Technician to join a busy workshop. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with strong earning potential and funded training to support career growth.

The successful candidate will service, repair and inspect HGVs, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and ensure all work complies with DVSA and OEM standards. A full UK driving licence is required.

• Professionally maintains vehicle care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles.

• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

HGV Technician Required - Preston

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Level 3 HGV Technician to join our busy and well-established workshop in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position offering strong earning potential and fully funded training to support your long-term career development.

The Role

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
• Working safely and efficiently within a team environment

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
