Job summary

Elite Workforce Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for our Northampton workshop. This permanent role offers a clear career path, full training, and the opportunity to work with modern equipment in a busy, supportive team.

The position requires Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair and a strong diagnostic ability, plus a full UK driving licence. Salary is up to £50,000 per year with overtime and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Experience as HGV Technician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation.
• Ensuring all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards.

HGV Technician Required - Northampton

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Level 3 HGV Technician to join our busy and well-established workshop in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position offering strong earning potential and fully funded training to support your long-term career development.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
• Working safely and efficiently within a team environment

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
