Job summary

Elite Workforce Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Level 3 HGV Technician for our Haydock workshop. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with strong earning potential and funded training.

The successful candidate will service and repair heavy goods vehicles, diagnose faults, perform MOT prep, and ensure compliance with DVSA and manufacturer standards in a modern workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Experience as an HGV Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation.
• Ensuring work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately.
• Working safely and efficiently within a team.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

HGV Technician Required - Haydock

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Level 3 HGV Technician to join our busy and well-established workshop in Haydock . This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position offering strong earning potential and fully funded training to support your long-term career development.

The Role

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
• Working safely and efficiently within a team environment

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
