Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Peterborough is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a large fleet operator opening a brand new workshop with modern facilities. The role offers a stable, long-term position with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekend shifts.

You will diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles from top brands such as Mercedes, Iveco and Ford, ensuring safety and quality standards and preparing vehicles for MOT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a busy workshop.
• Level 3 HGV Technician or equivalent (City & Guilds, NVQ or IMI).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT.
• Ensuring all vehicles meet safety and quality standards.
• Collaborating with a skilled, friendly team.
