Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a well-established transport company in Leighton Buzzard. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers 40 hours per week and a pay rate of £20 per hour, making it a stable route into a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, diagnose faults and work to DVSA standards, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality records.

Qualifications

• Experience as HGV Technician or related role.
• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds desirable.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.
• Class 1 or Class 2 licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing inspections in line with DVSA standards.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• A strong commitment to health and safety.
• A Class 1 or Class 2 licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
