Qualifications

• Full Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification required.
• Experience with vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Driving license for car/van is needed.

You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles and waste management handling equipment to meet health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements.

You will carry out scheduled preventative service and maintenance inspections to meet Biffa’s operator’s licence commitments. Our fleet ranges from light commercial vans to 44t articulated specialist assets, providing diverse learning and development opportunities for your technical skills.

We are seeking professionals who may have previous roles such as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, HGV Technician, or HGV Mechanic.

Requirements

• Fully skilled with a full Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds, or NVQ qualification.
• Minimum of a car/van driving licence.
