Job summary

Accord Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking for strong earning potential, long-term stability, and a professional workshop environment with modern equipment and ongoing support.

A Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification and a full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or similar in a commercial workshop.
• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs to high standards.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Complete job cards and repair records accurately.
• Work safely and efficiently to meet workshop deadlines.

Working Hours

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs


• Carry out vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance


• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults


• Complete repairs to a high standard


• Accurately complete job cards and repair records


• Work safely and efficiently to workshop deadlines

About You

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Truck Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician


• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is required


• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills


• Ability to work independently and within a team


• Good attention to detail


• Full UK Driving Licence


• Commercial vehicle workshop experience preferred
