Job summary

CD Auto Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled HGV Technician for a permanent depot workshop role in the UK. The position offers a four‑day week with a basic up to £23 per hour and on‑target earnings of £56,000+.

Overtime is paid at 1.5x. Benefits include pension, sick pay, and 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. NVQ Level 3 or IRTEC qualifications are preferred, and Class 1/2 or 7.5t licences are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience working on HGVs or equivalent qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or IRTEC).
• Preferred: Class 1, Class 2 or 7.5 tonne driving licence and experience on a variety of commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Work in the depot workshop with the UK's leading engineering companies.
• Perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs as part of a permanent role.
