Daf Trucks Uk Ltd in Greenford is looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our depot, working alternating early and late shifts. You'll diagnose faults with diagnostic tools, maintain and repair DAF trucks, and perform inspections.

You will mentor less experienced technicians, carry out final checks, and ensure vehicles return to the road quickly. Own toolkit and a valid driving licence (HGV preferred) are required; signing bonus applies for direct applicants.

Formación

• A completed secondary vocational education.
• Broad vehicle-related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
• Extensive experience in repairs and maintenance on trucks and components.
• Familiarisation with developments in the automotive industry.
• Own toolkit and valid driving licence (preferably HGV).

Our Greenford depot is looking for a Vehicle Technician to work alternating early/late shifts. £2000 Signing Bonus (direct applicants only) Are You 'Made for DAF'? Excellent! Because we're currently looking for talent. Here at DAF, you'll make sure that the best trucks are back on the road as fast as possible when they require maintenance. You'll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state-of-the-art technology. If you enjoy taking on responsibility, then we'll give you the freedom to perform diagnostics and to decide how to carry out maintenance and repairs on trucks. You'll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

This is what you'll be doing:

• You'll be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You’ll work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
• You’ll carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You’ll provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You’ll carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

This is what we're looking for:

• A completed secondary vocational education.
