Job summary

Htc Shoreham in Croydon is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their team for a permanent late shift. The role requires diagnosing and repairing DAF vehicles using advanced workshop systems. Our Croydon depot is looking for a Vehicle Technician to work a permanent late shift.

You’ll use the most advanced workshop systems on trucks with state‑of‑the‑art technology. You’ll be part of a great team with friendly colleagues.

This is what you’ll be doing:

• You will be responsible for fast and accurate diagnoses using diagnostic tools and for choosing the right repair techniques.
• You will work independently to maintain and repair DAF vehicles and components.
• You will carry out a range of inspections (MOT, tacho, etc.).
• You will provide support and daily mentoring for less experienced technicians.
• You will carry out final checks on work that has been completed.

This is what we’re looking for:

• A completed secondary vocational education.
• A broad vehicle‑related technical knowledge, preferably of DAF products.
• An extensive experience in carrying out repairs and maintenance on trucks, components and associated vehicles.
• Familiarisation with developments in the automotive industry.

You will be required to provide your own tool‑kit and be in possession of a valid driving licence (preferably HGV but not essential).
