Job summary

Holt-Recruitment in North West London seeks an experienced HGV Technician / PSV Mechanic for a full-time, permanent role. You will work in a modern workshop on a large fleet of passenger vehicles, with ongoing manufacturer training and career progression opportunities.

Benefits include a salary between £53,000 and £58,000 per year, 38 hours per week, overtime available, and comprehensive training in diagnostics and vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent required.
• Experience on HGV/PSV/Bus/Commercial vehicles and strong diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence; PCV licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair modern PSV vehicles.
• Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and MOT preparation.
• Fault find using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards.
• Complete all workshop paperwork accurately and efficiently.

Location: North West London

Position: Full-Time, Permanent 38 hours per week.

Hours: Various Shift Patterns Available

Salary: £53,000 - £58,000 per annum + Overtime Available

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• PCV licence is advantageous but not essential.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
