Job summary

QUINTESSENTIAL BRANDS UK GROUP LTD is seeking a depot-based HGV Technician in London. You will diagnose, service and repair a wide variety of vehicles across our fleet, with specialist training provided where needed to support our growing electric HGV assets.

Hours are up to 45 per week, with a competitive salary of £52,650 per annum plus a Depot Performance Bonus up to £3,000. A flexible approach to work patterns is offered to suit you.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent in HGV maintenance.
• Class 2 licence preferred.
• Experience in HGV repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

NRG Riverside are recruiting a depot based HGV Technician to join our depot in Waltham. As a key member of our front-line team you will diagnose, service and repair a wide variety of vehicles across our fleet. Specialist training will be provided, where needed, to develop your existing skills to support our specialist assets. Our business has exciting opportunities for you to develop! We maintain the largest electric HGV fleet in the country, and you will be given the opportunity to learn the skills needed to support this growing technology.

Location: Waltham
Hours: Up to 45 hours a week available, hours and days are negotiable.
Salary: £52,650.00 per annum, plus Depot Performance Bonus up to £3,000

Requirements

• Tacho calibrations, repairs, and wheel alignment
• HGV Technical qualification - NVQ or City and Guilds equivalent.
• Class 2 licence preferred.
• Experience of working in a similar role with an understanding of the HGV industry.
• Great team player whilst also able to work on own initiative.
• Experience in the Waste/Recycling industry would be great, but not essential.
• Awareness and understanding of Health and Safety practices.
