Job summary

Autoskills-Uk is seeking an HGV Technician to join our busy depot in Thetford. The role involves completing service and repair work, documentation, and maintaining workshop standards during a 40-hour week.

Shift times 14:00–22:30 Mon-Thu and 13:00–21:30 Fri, with a basic salary of £47,319 to £50,000 per annum. The ideal candidate will have MOT prep experience, time served tech or NVQ/C&G Level 3, and Class 1 or 2 licence preferred.

Qualifications

• MOT preparation experience.
• Time Served Tech or NVQ/C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs.
• Class 1 or 2 licence preferred.
• Appropriate technical qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards.
• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based.

HGV Technician

We currently have a vacancy for an HGV Technician to join our busy Depot.

Shift Options: 40 Hour Week

14:00 - 22:30 Monday - Thursday

13:00 - 21:30 Fridays

Basic Salary = £47,319 to £50,000 Per Annum

The HGV Technician Role

• Complete service and repair documentation and records in accordance with company requirements and standards


• Overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and other workshop equipment


• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, both electronically and paper based

Requirements

The core skills and qualifications required for a HGV Technician are:

• Class 1 or 2 licence preferred but would consider a licence that driver 7.5 tonne


• Appropriate technical qualifications.


• Time Served Tech or NVQ C&G Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repairs


• MOT preparation experience
