HGV Technician

Job role: HGV Technician
Location: Northampton
Money: 48,000 + Overtime paid at an increased rate
On target earnings: 52,000- 58,000 per annum

Shifts:
Early shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm & Friday 6am-2:30pm
Late shift: Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-10pm & Friday 12:30pm-9pm

Motivated and enthusiastic HGV Technician required for a successful workshop owned by a large international vehicle manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

The HGV Technician role involves:
  1. Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
  2. Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
  3. Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
  4. Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
  5. Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Required for this HGV Technician role:
  1. Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
  2. HGV licence is an advantage.
  3. Diagnostic experience.
