Job Role: HGV Technician
Up to: £44,000
Hours: Days
Overtime: paid at 1.5

About the Company:
My client is a large fleet maintenance company who have been established for over 15 years. They are one of the leading providers of maintenance service for a wide variety of commercial vehicles. Due to their continued success, they are now looking for a fully skilled HGV Technician to join their ever-growing team.

About your new HGV Technician role:

Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technicians on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful applicants will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. Your duties will include:

1. Vehicle inspections.
2. General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
3. Reactive maintenance as required.
4. MOT preparation / presentation.
5. Correction of running defects.
6. General HGV Technician duties.

Requirements:

The successful HGV Technician will require:

1. An in-depth knowledge of HGV's and trailers.
2. Hold an HGV Class 2 Licence.
3. Be fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
4. Previous experience as an HGV Technician.
