HGV Technician - Joining Bonus of £1,500!!

Biffa Waste - Taunton Depot

Pay Rate: £19.22p/h

Shift Pattern: 06:00 - 15:30 / 12:30 - 22:00 hrs rotating weekly - Overtime & Call Out Available

Monday to Friday (45 hrs per week), with some Saturdays when required

You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of vehicles and waste handling equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and DVSA requirements. Your role includes scheduled preventative maintenance to meet licensing commitments. Our diverse fleet offers opportunities to expand your technical skills, from light commercial vans to 44t articulated assets.

We welcome applications from professionals with experience as PSV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Technician, Lorry Mechanic, LGV Technician, or HGV Technician. Skilled or semi-skilled technicians interested in upskilling and career development are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

• Full Level 3 HGV / PSV apprentice qualification, City and Guilds, or NVQ Qualification
• Technician level experience
• Minimum a car/van driving license
• HGV license (desirable)
• IRTEC Qualification (desirable)
