Job summary

Venatu Recruitment Group is helping a client in South Yorkshire fill a Contract Heavy Vehicle Technician role. The position covers servicing, inspection, maintenance, and repair of HGV vehicles to workshop standards, with MOT prep, maintenance checks, and fault diagnosis as core duties.

This ongoing contract offers weekly pay and a range of workshops, with opportunities to work across the UK’s fleet workshops. Level 3 qualification and HGV/trailer experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Level 3 qualified heavy vehicle mechanic with experience on HGVs and trailers.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, inspecting and repairing HGVs to workshop standards.
• Willingness to work in South Yorkshire on an ongoing contract.

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Contract Heavy Vehicle Technician (HGV) to carry out the following:

• Service, maintain, inspect and repair HGV vehicles when needed to workshop standard
• MOT preparation and planned preventative maintenance and quality checks
• Fault diagnosis

If you are a level 3 qualified, experienced heavy vehicle mechanic (HGV) with experience of working on HGVs and trailers you are looking to start work as soon as possible then please get in touch.
