HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: £52,500+ per annum

HGV Technician Job Details

Basic Salary: £47,840 per annum

Working Hours:

• Tuesday - Friday: 20:30 - 07:00
• Monday - Thursday: 20:30 - 07:00

Location: Alfreton

For the HGV Technician role, prior experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance environment is required. You should be able to work well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
• Prepare and present vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
• Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to H&S requirements
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician

• Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
• HGV licence is advantageous
