Job summary

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Tanker Driver in Poole for a temp-to-perm role. Enjoy competitive PAYE pay, guaranteed minimum shift pay, overtime opportunities and free Driver CPC training.

Mondays–Fridays daytime shifts with weekly PAYE pay and a path to permanent employment. Based in Poole, you’ll drive 2K/3K class tanker vehicles, collect sewage/waste, perform safety checks and complete paperwork accurately while maintaining high customer service

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Digital tachograph card.
• Own transport to and from work.
• No more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate tanker vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
• Transport waste to authorised treatment facilities.
• Complete vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Communicate effectively with customers, dispatch and colleagues.

Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Tanker Driver for a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established company in Poole.

• Days: £17.00 per hour
• Nights & Saturdays: £18.77 per hour
• Sundays: £20.73 per hour

PAYE rates with holiday pay advanced.

• Weekly PAYE pay
• Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift
• Free Driver CPC training after every 30 shifts
• Monday–Friday working
• Regular daytime shifts with overtime available

The Role

You’ll drive and operate 2K and 3K Class 2 tanker vehicles, collecting sewage and wastewater from commercial storage tanks and transporting it to authorised processing facilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Driving and operating your tanker safely and professionally
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks
• Transporting waste to authorised treatment facilities
• Completing vehicle and delivery paperwork accurately
• Communicating effectively with customers, dispatch and colleagues
• Following transport, environmental, health and safety procedures

What You’ll Need

To be considered, you must have:
