Job summary

Pertemps Bond in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an experienced HGV Sales Executive to drive vehicle sales and manage customer relationships from initial enquiry through to after-sales care. You will present commercial vehicles on-site and remotely, delivering professional service in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a base salary of £30,000 with an uncapped commission and a clear path for career development within the transport and logistics sector.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience within HGV or commercial vehicles.
• Hold a valid HGV driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of HGV/commercial vehicles and aftermarket care.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage high volumes of customer enquiries (e.g., 100+ WhatsApp messages daily).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and showcase commercial vehicles to prospective customers.
• Welcome and assist customers visiting the site.
• Communicate with customers via telephone, email, WhatsApp, and in person.
• Follow up sales enquiries to maximise conversions.
• Provide after-sales support to maintain satisfaction.
• Coordinate with in-house valeting for vehicle presentation.
• Create tailored WhatsApp video presentations for clients.
• Support the sales team with general enquiries and day-to-day activity.
