Job summary

Adecco is seeking an HGV Refuse Collection Driver to join a team of valued key workers. Pre-planned routes and set start/finish times mean predictable hours and time for family. You will collect refuse and recycling daily, operate in-cab tech, and maintain vehicle safety and paperwork with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
• Driver CPC
• Willingness to help refuse loaders while on rounds

• Clean driving licence
• Previous relevant experience desirable, but not essential

HGV Refuse Collection Driver to join a team of valued key workers and help make a positive difference to the environment we all live and work in.

As a HGV Refuse Collection Driver, you'll:

• Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job
• Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal
• Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed
• Complete relevant paperwork in real time
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use
• Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.
• Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users

Your typical working hours will be:

30am to 3pm, Monday - Friday

What you'll need to do the role:
