Job summary

Aureos Capital is seeking a site transport and safety supervisor to inspect HGVs daily, secure loads, and report defects to the Transport Manager. You will help plan routes, check load heights and ensure road user safety during loading and unloading.

The role emphasizes compliance with Health & Safety policies, daily risk assessments, and maintaining vehicles and equipment in good condition. You will work with the team to meet targets and uphold Aureos golden rules.

Qualifications

• Inspect HGV daily and report defects to Transport Manager.
• Secure plant, equipment and materials prior to transportation.
• Ensure safety of road users during loading/unloading.
• Check load heights and plan routes to avoid low bridges.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and safety rules.
• Manage driver hours and logbooks or tachographs.
• Record daily risk assessments and update as conditions change.
• Maintain vehicles and tools in good working order and report defects.
• Record near misses monthly.
• Follow Aureos policies and procedures.
