Aureos is seeking a safety-conscious on-site operative to inspect HGVs, secure loads and support safe transport operations. You will report defects to the Transport Manager and help keep vehicles, tools and PPE in date and good order.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect HGV daily and report defects to Transport Manager
• Secure all plant, equipment and materials prior to transportation
• Ensure loading/unloading does not endanger road users
• Check load heights and plan routes to avoid low bridges
• Comply with service partner’s Health & Safety policy, MS, DNO Distribution Safety Rules, guidance notes & NRSWA CH 8
• Manage driver hours and logbook or tachograph
• Complete and update daily risk assessments
• Keep vehicles clean and in good working order; report defects
• Ensure tools and PPE are in date and in good order; report defects
• Verify lifting equipment suitability and create lift plan before work
• Record at least one near-miss per month
• Remain professional and courteous to customers and stakeholders
• Follow Aureos policies and procedures
• Do not continue work after an incident without management agreement
• Understand and apply Aureos golden rules
• Halting unsafe site actions when observed
• Know responsibilities and authorization boundaries
• Participate in on-site safety inspections/audits
• Ensure designated access/egress routes are used

• To ensure that all their tools, equipment, PPE etc. are in good working order and in date and to highlight any defects to their site manager.
